Private Label Spray Cans for Your Own Brand
With private label spray cans, you carry technical sprays under your own name without producing them yourself. Our production partners in Europe handle the filling; Berger & Schröter coordinates the project, inspects the goods in Iserlohn and delivers them in the agreed packaging unit. The offer is aimed at wholesalers, specialist retailers, workshop chains and brands that want to add sprays to their range.
Private label spray cans from the range or newly developed
The fastest route to an own brand is via our existing range: around 150 technical sprays in ten categories, including paint sprays in RAL colours, marking sprays, zinc spray and corrosion protection, lubricants, cleaners, car care, electronics sprays, welding sprays, adhesives and sealants as well as testing sprays. You select the products, and the partner plant fills them under your label. If your product is to stand out in formulation or properties, we develop it together with you and the production partner. What you specify
- Label: your design, your brand. We check the layout for the mandatory information under the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and the Aerosolpackungsverordnung (German Aerosol Dispensers Ordinance, 13. ProdSV) so that the label is print-ready and legally compliant.
- Can and cap: can sizes from 150 to 750 ml, cap in the colour of your choice, spray head to suit the product.
- Packaging unit: carton size, number of cans per carton and palletisation to your logistics requirements. Packing takes place in Iserlohn to your specification.
- Formulation: from the range, adapted or newly developed together with the production partner.
Process up to the first delivery
After your enquiry, we agree products, can size and quantities and send you samples from the production partner. In parallel, you create the label design, which we check for labelling requirements. After series approval, the partner plant in Europe fills and labels the product. In Iserlohn, this is followed by goods receipt, quality control, packaging to your specification and dispatch. Repeat orders are based on the approved specification, without samples and approval having to be repeated.
Benefits for the trade and brands
With your own brand, you build customer loyalty and margin without having to maintain equipment or a hazardous substances store. The products are made in Europe with European raw materials and checked in Iserlohn before dispatch. You have one contact person for formulation, label, samples and delivery. Frequently asked questions
Which products are suitable for an own brand?
In principle, any product from our range of around 150 technical sprays, such as paint sprays in RAL colours, brake cleaner, zinc spray, lubricant sprays, contact spray or marking sprays. We discuss which products are worthwhile for your sales channel on the basis of your target group and your existing range. Distributors often start with five to ten products from the categories they already sell.
Who designs the label?
You or your agency supply the design. We provide the mandatory information that belongs on the label, including hazard pictograms, signal word, H and P statements under the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and the notices under the Aerosolpackungsverordnung (German Aerosol Dispensers Ordinance, 13. ProdSV), and check the finished layout before printing. You supply the print data to us in the agreed format; we coordinate printing and labelling with the production partner.
Can I have formulations adapted for my own brand?
Yes. In addition to filling existing formulations under your name, products can be adapted, for example colour shade, fragrance or viscosity, or newly developed. This is done together with our production partner. You receive samples before series approval. We provide details of the effort involved after reviewing your requirement. The adapted formulation remains reserved for your brand if you wish.
Will I receive safety data sheets for my own brand?
Yes. For every private label product, we provide a safety data sheet on request that is issued in your brand and your company details. You can pass it on to your customers and use it for your hazardous substances register. If the formulation or classification changes, you receive an updated version.
