2. Server log files
When you access the website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server that delivers the website. The following are stored: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, volume of data transferred, status code, referrer URL as well as browser type and operating system. The processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website and in the prevention and investigation of attacks. The log files are not merged with other data. The website is operated by a hosting provider with servers located in Germany.
3. Enquiry form
If you use the enquiry form, we process the details you enter: company, name, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry. The processing serves to handle your enquiry and to initiate a contract. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. To protect the form against misuse, we additionally store a hashed form of your IP address; the original IP address cannot be derived from it. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest being the prevention of spam and automated access. The data from the enquiry form is deleted twelve months after receipt, unless the enquiry results in a contractual relationship that triggers longer statutory retention periods.
4. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as the enquiry is directed towards a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR with the legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. Emails are deleted as soon as the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
5. Recipients and disclosure
Your data is not passed on to third parties. The only recipient within the scope of data processing on our behalf is the hosting provider, which operates the website and the mail server in Germany and is bound by our instructions. No data is transferred to third countries outside the European Union.
