Rust Shock

Rust Shock is a penetrating oil for stubbornly seized screws, nuts, bolts and connections. It belongs to the class of creeping penetrating oils that penetrate the gap between thread and nut, undermine the rust and loosen the connection until it can be undone with normal tools.

In use, spray the connection precisely and allow the product to act. Penetrating oils need time to creep, so on heavily corroded parts a second application is worthwhile before you apply force or damage the thread. Light tapping helps penetration. After loosening, clean the thread and protect it against renewed corrosion so that the next dismantling is easier.

Rust Shock is aimed at car and commercial vehicle workshops, agricultural machinery, maintenance, locksmiths and municipal services that work with heavily rusted connections on running gear, exhausts, attachments and plant. For retailers, it complements Penetrating Oil and Bio Penetrating Oil in the range and can be filled as an own brand.

1. Brush loose rust and dirt off the bolted connection.
2. Shake the can and spray Rust Shock precisely onto the thread and gap.
3. Allow to act; on heavily corroded parts, spray again and tap lightly.
4. Loosen the connection; repeat the process if necessary.
5. Clean the thread and protect it against new corrosion before reassembly.
