Rust-Stop long-term primer red-brown

The Rust-Stop long-term primer red-brown is an anti-rust primer and at the same time an adhesion primer for the top coat. It contains a rust converter, which is why the surface to be treated does not have to be 100 % rust-free. The primer penetrates the rust and reduces further rusting.

The product is fast-drying and readily overpaintable. It is temperature-resistant up to 80 °C, briefly up to 120 °C, and is also suitable as a spot-weld primer. The red-brown shade corresponds to the classic anti-rust primer and can be finished with common top coats.

The long-term primer can be used universally for all protection and priming work: in metal construction, in maintenance, on gates, fences, railings and steel structures as well as in car and commercial vehicle workshops before painting. The 400 ml can is the workshop format for repair and touch-up. On request, we also supply the product as a private label product under your own brand.

1. Remove loose rust, scale, grease and dirt; firmly adhering residual rust can remain.
2. Shake the can thoroughly before use until the mixing ball can be heard moving freely.
3. Spray thinly at an even distance, avoiding runs by applying several thin coats.
4. After initial drying, apply a second coat if required.
5. Allow to dry through completely before applying the top coat; after use, briefly spray the can upside down to clear the nozzle.
