UBS grey

UBS grey is a rubber-resin-based underbody protection with anti-drumming effect. It is overpaintable, very abrasion-resistant and durable and is dry after just about 2 to 4 hours. The product is suitable for all metal and plastic substrates.

The coating remains ageing-resistant and durable, is very elastic and impact-resistant, so that it does not flake off under stone chips and similar stresses. Thanks to the anti-drumming effect, the layer also dampens driving and rolling noise from the underbody. The grey shade forms a neutral base for subsequent painting in the vehicle colour.

Vehicle workshops, body shops, commercial vehicle service and vehicle detailing use UBS grey to protect underbodies, wheel housings, sills and plastic parts. The 400 ml can is intended for touch-ups and medium-sized areas; for the same formulation in black, UBS black is available in 500 ml.

1. Remove rust, dirt, grease and loose old coating from the underbody and mask off adjacent parts.
2. Shake the can thoroughly before use until the mixing ball can be heard moving freely.
3. Spray evenly at an even distance.
4. For a higher film thickness, apply several coats with airing time.
5. Dry after about 2 to 4 hours; allow to dry through before overpainting.
