Wax UBS

Wax UBS is a wax-based underbody protection with high creeping capability. It is ideal for touching up and retreating existing underbody coatings and is suitable for all common substrates. The high creeping capability ensures reliable sealing of the smallest cracks, seams and overlaps.

Even at a thin film thickness, the wax forms a closed protective film that keeps moisture away from the sheet metal. Application is low-mist, which makes application under the vehicle easier and reduces the impact on the surroundings. Wax UBS is not overpaintable and is therefore intended for areas that are not painted in the vehicle colour.

Vehicle workshops, vehicle detailing, classic car care and commercial vehicle service use the 500 ml can for annual re-preservation and for closing cracks in the old coating. For overpaintable underbody protection, UBS grey, UBS black and stone chip protection grey are available. We will be pleased to advise you on preparation, coating build-up and suitable complementary products for your application.

1. Clean the underbody, remove loose old coating and dirt, allow to dry.
2. Shake the can well before use until the mixing ball can be heard moving freely.
3. Spray thinly and evenly at an even distance to full coverage, wetting seams and cracks specifically.
4. Apply a second thin coat if required.
5. Allow to air and do not overpaint; after use, briefly spray the can upside down to clear the nozzle.
