Description
The Gear Protection Spray forms a lubricating and protective layer on open gears, gear rims, racks and pinions. Open gear teeth run without an oil bath and are exposed to dust, moisture and weather; the sprayed-on film does both jobs there: it lubricates the tooth flanks in mesh and protects the metal surface between operating phases.
As a lubricant spray for gear teeth, the product is applied in the installed state and spreads over the tooth flanks as the gear is turned. The film adheres to the gear and stays in place instead of being flung off during rotation. This reduces relubrication intervals and keeps the area around the gear unit clean.
The Gear Protection Spray is aimed at maintenance, conveyor technology, crane and lifting technology, agricultural machinery, construction machinery service and plant construction, as well as the technical trade. The product is not intended for enclosed gear units with an oil filling; there, the gear unit manufacturer's specifications apply.
