Graphite Spray Dry

The Graphite Spray Dry is a long-term lubricant that leaves a dry graphite film after the carrier has evaporated. Unlike oil-based lubricants, the lubrication point stays clean and does not bind dust, sand or swarf. This makes the product the right choice for sliding surfaces in dusty environments, for locks and cylinders, guides, hinges and sliding elements.

As a dry lubricant spray, the graphite film is suitable wherever a wet or sticky film would be a nuisance, for example on controls, in wooden and plastic guides or at points where workpieces come into contact with the lubrication point. Graphite as a solid lubricant retains its sliding properties even when the carrier has long since evaporated.

The product is aimed at maintenance, locksmiths, joineries, building services and the technical trade. For applications with high temperatures, the classic Graphite Spray with its specified temperature range is available as an alternative.

1. Clean and dry the lubrication point, remove old grease and oil residues.
2. Shake the can vigorously so that the graphite powder is distributed.
3. Spray thinly onto the sliding surface, for locks directly into the cylinder.
4. Allow the carrier to evaporate completely until a dry film has formed.
5. Move the component so that the graphite spreads over the sliding surface.
