V-Belt Spray

The V-Belt Spray in the 400 ml can eliminates squealing and squeaking noises on V-belts. Such noises occur when the belt no longer grips the pulley cleanly, for example after a long running time, in damp conditions or when tension has slightly decreased. The spray improves the contact between belt and pulley, and the belt runs quietly again.

Unlike a lubricant spray for bearings and joints, a belt drive must not become slippery but must grip. The V-Belt Spray is designed for this purpose: it is offered in the larger can size and is therefore suitable for companies with many belt drives or for the regular maintenance of vehicle fleets and machine parks.

Users are car and commercial vehicle workshops, agricultural machinery, building services with ventilation and pump drives, and maintenance departments. For smaller can sizes, the V-Belt and Drive Belt Spray with 300 ml is available.

1. Switch off the drive and make sure that the belt is stationary.
2. Remove dirt from the belt and pulleys and check the belt tension.
3. Shake the can and apply the spray evenly to the running surfaces of the belt.
4. Turn the belt so that the active ingredient is distributed over the entire length of the belt.
5. Put the drive into operation and check that it runs quietly.
