Description
The Welding Release Spray P/B is a release agent for welding work. It prevents weld beads from adhering to the workpiece, to fixtures and to clamping devices. The sprayed-on release film lies between the metal surface and the spatter, so that the beads do not burn in after welding but rest loosely on the surface.
In use, the welding spray saves rework: instead of grinding or chiselling off spatter, it is wiped or brushed off. This protects the workpiece surface, shortens throughput time and protects fixtures that have to stay clean over many welding cycles. The release spray is applied thinly before welding; an even film is sufficient. Before subsequent painting or coating, check whether the workpiece needs to be cleaned.
The Welding Release Spray P/B is aimed at welding shops, metal fabrication, fixture construction, body shops, training facilities and specialist welding supply dealers. As a companion to the silicone-free Welding Protection Spray CO₂, it is also available as a private label.

Application
- Remove oil, grease and dirt from the workpiece, fixture and clamping devices.
- Shake the can and spray the release spray thinly and evenly onto the surfaces around the weld seam.
- Weld as usual.
- Wipe or brush off loosely resting weld beads.
- Clean the surface if required before painting or coating.
