Engine Starter Spray

The Engine Starter Spray is a cold start aid for petrol and diesel engines in the 300 ml can. It helps when an engine does not start immediately in cold or damp conditions or after a long period of standing, for example seasonal vehicles, lawnmowers, generators, construction machinery or boats at the start of the season.

Use is the same as with the other starter sprays: remove the air filter, spray briefly into the intake area and start immediately. A few bursts are enough; prolonged spraying is not intended. A starter spray does not fix a cause. In the event of recurring starting problems, the battery, ignition, glow plug system and fuel supply should be checked. Do not spray painted parts and plastics in the engine bay.

The Engine Starter Spray is aimed at garden equipment and small engine services, boat businesses, agricultural machinery, construction machinery hire and vehicle workshops. For retailers, it is an alternative designation and presentation for the 300 ml can, aimed at DIY store and garden customers, and can be filled as an own brand.

1. Switch off the engine, remove the air filter or expose an intake opening.
2. Shake the can and spray the engine starter spray briefly into the intake area.
3. Start the engine immediately.
4. If the engine does not start, spray briefly once more and start again.
5. Refit the air filter. In the event of repeated starting problems, look for the cause in the battery, ignition or fuel system.
