Brake Cleaner

The Brake Cleaner is a universal cleaner for all components contaminated with oil, grease, brake dust or similar soiling. It contains 98 % active ingredient, evaporates completely and leaves no residue. Neutral CO² serves as the propellant, so the contents of the can consist almost entirely of cleaner.

In use, the product dissolves lubricant residue and abrasion on brake discs, brake callipers, clutches and gearbox parts and flushes them away. The Brake Cleaner contains acetone and is therefore not suitable for painted surfaces. Sensitive plastics should also be tested on a concealed area before use.

Besides brake maintenance, the cleaner is suitable for cleaning electronic components and vehicle electrics, as it dries without residue. Typical users are vehicle workshops, maintenance departments, mechanical engineering and assembly companies that need grease-free surfaces before bonding, painting or testing. For retailers, the Brake Cleaner is a standard item in the workshop range.

1. Expose the component and remove coarse dirt mechanically.
2. Shake the can before use and spray the cleaner generously onto the soiled area.
3. Let the dissolved dirt run off or wipe it away with a lint-free cloth; repeat the process for heavy soiling.
4. Allow the cleaner to dry completely before assembling, bonding or painting.
5. Do not use on painted surfaces; test plastics beforehand on a concealed area.
