Carburettor Cleaner

The Carburettor Cleaner is a special cleaner for carburettors. It dissolves deposits, gum residue and fuel residue that build up in carburettors, on throttle valves and in the intake area and impair engine running. With the spray jet you reach jets, channels and valves without fully dismantling the carburettor.

In use, spray the cleaner onto the soiled components, allow it to act and rinse off or wipe away the dissolved residue. On removed carburettors, treat the float chamber, jets and channels individually. Check painted surfaces, rubber and plastics for compatibility beforehand, as solvent-based cleaners can attack them.

The Carburettor Cleaner is aimed at motorcycle workshops, garden equipment and small engine services, classic car businesses as well as workshops for agricultural machinery and two-stroke engines. For specialist retailers, it complements starter spray and brake cleaner in the range for engines and small equipment and can also be filled as an own brand.

1. Allow the engine to cool and remove the air filter and covers so that the carburettor is accessible.
2. Shake the can and spray the carburettor cleaner onto the throttle valve, jets and channels.
3. Allow to act until deposits and gum residue dissolve.
4. Rinse off or wipe away the dissolved residue; repeat if necessary.
5. Allow the components to dry and refit them. Test rubber, plastic and paint beforehand.
