PU Gun Cleaner

The PU Gun Cleaner removes PU foam residue from PU foam guns and from tools and surfaces. After applying expanding foam, residue remains in the channel and on the adapter of the gun, where it cures and renders the gun unusable. The cleaner dissolves this residue as long as it has not yet fully cured.

In use, screw the can onto the PU gun and flush the channel until clear cleaner emerges. Fresh foam splashes on tools, window sills or frames can be wiped off with the cleaner. Cured foam can no longer be dissolved with the gun cleaner and must be removed mechanically, so it is best to clean the gun immediately after use or before longer breaks.

The PU Gun Cleaner is aimed at window fitters, drywall contractors, roofers, installers and assembly companies that regularly work with PU expanding foam. For builders' merchants and specialist retailers, it belongs in every foam range as a PU foam cleaner.

1. Unscrew the foam can from the PU gun and remove coarse foam residue from the outside.
2. Shake the can of cleaner and screw it onto the gun.
3. Operate the gun until clear cleaner emerges and the channel is free.
4. Unscrew the cleaner and wipe the outside of the gun.
5. Spray fresh foam splashes on tools and surfaces and wipe them off; test the substrate beforehand.
