Copper Paste Spray

The Copper Paste Spray is a lubricant and assembly agent for the high-temperature range. It contains finely dispersed copper as a solid component and is suitable for temperature ranges from -35 °C to +1100 °C. It is used on parts exposed to high temperatures such as brakes, thrust bearings, exhaust bolted connections and flanges.

In use, the copper paste as a spray impresses with excellent adhesion, even at high temperatures. The film prevents the contact surfaces from seizing and corroding and thus makes later dismantling easier. On brakes, the Copper Paste Spray prevents squealing. The good long-term effect reduces the maintenance effort on connections that are rarely opened.

The lubricant spray is aimed at car and commercial vehicle workshops, plant and furnace construction, maintenance and assembly companies. In the technical trade, copper paste as a spray is a common addition to paste in a tin, because it can be dosed more precisely and cleanly.

1. Clean the thread, flange or contact surface and remove corrosion.
2. Shake the can vigorously so that the copper content is evenly distributed.
3. Spray a thin, even coat onto the contact surfaces, leaving out the friction surfaces of brakes.
4. Allow the solvent to evaporate until an even paste film is present.
5. Fit the components and tighten according to the manufacturer's specifications.
