Black matt

Black matt is a high-quality, matt black combi paint for industry and trades. It is temperature-resistant up to 150 °C and therefore also suitable for components that heat up in operation, for example housings near engines, brackets or covers. The paint offers very good coverage and adhesion.

The matt surface hides small irregularities and gives a technical, understated look. The paint film has good abrasion resistance and durability, is UV-resistant and does not fade. Using a special primer further improves adhesion, which is recommended on bare metal and plastic.

Mechanical engineering, metal construction, vehicle technology, equipment manufacturers and trade businesses use black matt for frames, consoles, panels, brackets and repair areas where a robust, non-reflective finish is required. For specialist distributors, the combi paint is also available as an own brand with your own label.

Black matt is sprayed onto the prepared substrate; a special primer improves adhesion on bare metal and plastic.

1. Clean, degrease and sand the substrate and prime with special primer if required.
2. Shake the can vigorously.
3. Apply the paint evenly in several thin coats.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Let it dry through completely before loading and heating.
