Description

Exhaust paint silver is the silver-coloured version of the heat-resistant stoving paint for exhaust systems. In composition and field of use it corresponds to the black exhaust paint, so it is temperature-resistant up to 600 °C, dries quickly and adheres well to metal and many other materials. In addition, it contains metal dust particles that give the painted component further rust protection.

The silver surface is suitable wherever a bright, metallic shade is desired, for example on tailpipes, silencers, stove pipes or heat shields. After application, the exhaust paint cures when heated up for the first time. The product is not intended for manifolds and parts that reach more than 600 °C.

Car and motorcycle workshops, stove builders and maintenance companies use the silver exhaust paint to touch up rusted or discoloured exhaust systems and to visually upgrade hot parts. As a complement to the black version, it can also be added to own-brand ranges.
