Chrome spray

Chrome spray is a high-gloss special paint that gives surfaces a chrome effect. It serves to visually enhance a wide variety of materials and is used wherever a striking, glossy finish is required. The product achieves its extreme gloss level through its special formulation and the high purity of the metal pigments used.

In use, the chrome spray settles on the substrate as a fine, mirror-like film. The smoother and cleaner the surface is prepared, the more clearly the chrome effect comes through. With effect paints of this kind, thin, even coats are more important than a high film thickness, because the metal pigments align themselves on the surface during application.

Typical fields of application are exhibition construction, arts and crafts, decoration, model making and shopfitting. Workshops also use chrome spray when trim parts or panels are to receive a metallic shine. For trade and own brands, the product can be supplied with an individual label.

1. Clean and degrease the surface and prepare it as smooth as possible, since every unevenness remains visible in the chrome effect.
2. Shake the can thoroughly.
3. Apply in several very thin coats from an even distance.
4. Allow to flash off between coats and do not touch the surface.
5. Let the paintwork dry through completely before the part is processed further.
