Clear coat spray

The clear coat spray is an acrylic-based clear coat for universal use. It dries quickly and is suitable as a top coat for all common paints or as a finishing coat on untreated surfaces. The coat is lightfast and does not yellow, forms a UV protection and preserves the underlying colour layer from fading.

After drying, the clear coat spray gives a glossy, glass-like surface with good abrasion resistance. The paint film is very flexible and crack-resistant, so it also holds on components that are exposed to slight movement or temperature fluctuations. As a final coat over a RAL paint spray or an effect paint, it protects the colour and enhances the gloss.

Industry, trades, workshops, exhibition construction and decoration use the clear coat to seal painted surfaces, to protect lettering and effect paints and as a finishing coat on metal, wood or plastic. For distributors, the clear coat is also available as an own brand with your own label.

The clear coat spray is sprayed as a final coat over fully dried coloured paints or directly onto clean, untreated surfaces.

1. Clean and degrease the substrate and allow it to dry completely; coloured paints must have dried through.
2. Shake the can well.
3. Apply the clear coat evenly in several thin coats.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Let it dry through completely before mechanical stress.
