Motorplast

Motorplast is a flexible and heat-resistant special paint for engines. It gives the engine an as-new appearance and adheres even to radiator hoses and cables, whose colours it refreshes. At the same time, the paint protects the engine against corrosion and road salt and makes later cleaning of the engine bay easier.

Unlike rigid paints, Motorplast remains flexible and follows the movements of hoses, lines and rubber parts without cracking. The paint is sprayed thinly and evenly over the cleaned components; pulleys, V-belts and friction surfaces as well as contacts are masked beforehand. The surface then looks uniform and well kept.

Motorplast is designed as a universal paint for engines of all kinds: car and commercial vehicle engines, boat, motorcycle and lawnmower engines. Vehicle detailers, workshops, classic car businesses, boatyards and power equipment dealers use it to upgrade used engines. For specialist distributors, the product is also available as an own brand.

Motorplast is sprayed onto the cleaned, cold engine and settles as a flexible film over metal, hoses and cables.

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the engine and engine bay and allow to dry; mask belts, friction surfaces and contacts.
2. Shake the can vigorously.
3. Spray the paint thinly and evenly over the components.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Let it dry through completely before starting the engine.
