Paint spray brass

Paint spray brass is an acrylic-based universal paint in the shade brass. It gives surfaces the typical yellowish-golden look of brass and is therefore suitable for components that are to look like the classic material without being made from it. Acrylic paints adhere to many substrates, dry quickly and retain their shade.

As with all metallic tones, the rule for application is: spray thinly, evenly and in several passes so that the pigments align cleanly and the effect appears uniform. On smooth or difficult materials, a primer improves adhesion; a final coat of clear coat protects the surface where it is handled frequently.

Typical users are exhibition builders, interior fitters, restorers, theatre and event technology, luminaire builders and tradespeople who give fittings, frames, handles, trim strips or decorative objects a brass look. As part of the metallic tone line with gold and copper, paint spray brass is also available as an own brand.

Paint spray brass, like all metallic tones, is applied in thin coats to a clean, smooth substrate.

1. Clean and degrease the surface, allow to dry and prime if required.
2. Shake the can thoroughly.
3. Apply the paint evenly in several thin coats.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Allow to dry through and seal with clear coat if desired.
