Paint spray copper

Paint spray copper is an acrylic-based universal paint in the shade copper. It creates a warm, reddish shimmering metallic look and is used for design and decorative tasks. Acrylic paints are known for their good adhesion to many substrates, their fast drying and their colour stability and can be applied to metal, wood, stone and many plastics.

The copper tone comes out best when the paint is applied in several thin coats to a smooth, clean substrate. This distributes the pigments evenly and creates a calm metallic effect without clouding. A clear coat as the final coat protects the surface against abrasion and preserves the gloss.

Exhibition construction, shopfitting, interior fit-out, arts and crafts and trades use paint spray copper for frames, luminaires, fittings, pipes in industrial design and decorative objects. Together with the gold and brass versions, a selection of metallic tones is available, also as an own brand for specialist distributors.

Paint spray copper is sprayed in thin coats onto a smooth, clean substrate so that the metallic effect turns out evenly.

1. Clean and degrease the substrate and allow to dry; prime smooth surfaces.
2. Shake the can vigorously.
3. Spray the paint on evenly in several thin coats.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Let it dry through completely and seal with clear coat if required.
