Paint spray gold

Paint spray gold is a universal paint on a nitro-combination base in the shade gold. It gives surfaces a gold-coloured, metallic effect and is used wherever a decorative, high-quality look is required. Nitro-combination paints are known for their fast drying and can be applied to many substrates.

As with all effect paints, the result depends heavily on the application: several thin, even coats give a calm, uniform gold tone without clouding or runs. The substrate should be clean, dry and free of grease; on difficult materials, a primer improves durability. A final clear coat can additionally protect the metallic effect.

Paint spray gold is applied like an effect paint: a smooth substrate and thin coats give the uniform gold tone.

1. Clean and degrease the substrate and allow to dry; prime if required.
2. Shake the can vigorously until the pigments are evenly distributed.
3. Apply the paint evenly in several thin coats.
4. Allow to flash off between coats.
5. Let it dry through completely and seal with clear coat if desired.
