Pre-filled can

The pre-filled can is an aerosol can that is already filled with propellant and solvent and is intended for filling with custom-mixed paints. It makes it possible to supply an individually mixed paint, for example a vehicle shade by colour code or a special colour, as a ready-to-spray product without needing a dedicated filling plant.

In use, the desired custom-mixed paint is filled into the can with the appropriate filling device; the shade can then be applied like a conventional paint spray. This is an advantage wherever small quantities of an exact shade are needed, for example for touch-ups on vehicles, machines or fixtures in a customer's colour.

Paint shops, specialist paint retailers with mixing systems, body shops and industrial customers with corporate shades use the pre-filled can to offer custom-mixed paints as a spray. The pre-filled can is filled by a specialist business with the desired custom-mixed paint and then applied like a conventional paint spray.

1. Mix the paint according to the manufacturer's instructions and adjust it for spraying.
2. Fill the can with the intended filling device and fit the valve.
3. Shake the can vigorously before use.
4. Apply the paint in thin coats like a normal paint spray.
5. Allow to flash off between coats and let it dry through completely.
