Description

Primer red-brown is a priming paint for all areas. It is applied as the first coat to prepared substrates and forms the bond between the material and the top coat. The red-brown shade is the classic colour for primers on steel and iron and has long been used for this task in industry and trades.

As a primer, it ensures that the subsequent paint adheres evenly and that the coating does not detach prematurely. On metallic substrates, a primer also helps to seal the surface and make the paint system more resistant. Dark and strong top coat colours build up well on the red-brown base.

Typical users are locksmiths, steel and metal fabricators, maintenance staff and workshops that prime beams, railings, machine parts or brackets before the top coat. For specialist distributors, primer red-brown is also available under your own label.
