Description

Stove paint black is a heat-resistant paint in the shade black in the large 500 ml can. It was developed for surfaces that heat up strongly in operation: wood-burning stoves, stove pipes, stove doors, barbecues, fire bowls and heat shields. Black is the classic colour for stoves and flue pipes and reliably covers signs of wear.

Like all heat-resistant paints, the stove paint cures completely when heated up for the first time. Before that, the coating must dry through, and heating up should take place slowly and with the room ventilated. Application in several thin coats on a clean, rust-free and grease-free substrate ensures an even, matt surface. The larger content is designed for complete stoves and longer pipe runs.

Stove and fireplace builders, chimney sweeps, heating engineers, barbecue manufacturers and maintenance staff use stove paint black for recoating and refreshing. For specialist distributors, the product is also available as an own brand; for small touch-ups there is stove paint anthracite in 150 ml.
