Crack Testing Kit Cleaner

The crack testing kit cleaner is the first and third step of crack testing with the crack testing kit from Aerosols Germany. Before testing, it frees the surface of dirt, oil, grease and loose residues so that the penetrant can enter cracks unhindered. After the dwell time of the penetrant, the same cleaner is used to remove the excess from the surface without flushing the agent out of the cracks.

This intermediate cleaning determines how meaningful the result is: if too much penetrant remains on the surface, the developer turns red over a large area and individual cracks can no longer be distinguished. The cleaner is therefore sprayed sparingly onto a cloth and the surface is wiped with it until it is free of colour.

Users are quality assurance, welding shops, maintenance and vehicle workshops. The cleaner is available individually and as part of the three-can set with penetrant and developer, under your own brand on request.

1. Before testing, spray the test surface with the cleaner, wipe with a clean cloth and allow to dry.
2. Spray on the red penetrant and allow it to work.
3. Spray the cleaner onto a cloth and wipe off the excess, do not spray directly onto the cracks.
4. Apply the developer and read off the indication; after testing, clean the surface again with the cleaner.
