PU Construction Foam

The PU Construction Foam 500 ml is a one-component polyurethane-based construction foam in DIN 4102-B2 or B3 quality. It is characterised by a high foam yield: 1 litre produces approx. 50 litres of expanded volume. The foam cures quickly, is tack-free after 5 minutes and can be cut after 30 to 40 minutes.

The construction foam bonds to wood, concrete, plaster, masonry and many plastics and offers good material compatibility. It is suitable for fitting door frames and window frames, for insulating penetrations and for sealing joints against draughts. After curing, protruding foam is cut off, after which the joint can be plastered or covered.

Target groups are the building trade, window construction, installation companies, maintenance and building materials and tool dealers. The 500 ml version is suitable for shorter joint lengths and service operations; on request, we also supply it under your own brand.

1. Clean the substrate, remove loose parts, lightly moisten absorbent surfaces.
2. Shake the can vigorously, fit the adaptor and work with the valve pointing downwards.
3. Fill the joint only partially, the foam continues to expand.
4. After 5 minutes the foam is tack-free, after 30 to 40 minutes it can be cut; cut off protruding foam.
5. Remove fresh foam immediately with PU foam cleaner.
