Description

The retaining compound is an anaerobic adhesive for cylindrical metal joints, such as shaft and hub, gear and axle or sleeve and bore. The adhesive fills the gap between the parts and cures in the absence of air in contact with the metal. This makes the joint load-bearing over its full area and at the same time protects it against corrosion in the gap.

In use, the retaining compound replaces or complements press and shrink fits. Transition fits and slightly worn seats can be securely joined again without reworking the parts mechanically. The joint transmits torque and axial forces and does not loosen through vibration.

Users are maintenance, gearbox and engine construction, drive technology and vehicle workshops. The 50 ml bottle is intended for the workbench and assembly use and can be obtained under your own brand on request.
