Description
The bearing/bush adhesive is an anaerobic adhesive for fixing rolling bearings, plain bearings and bushes in housings and on shafts. It is introduced into the seat in liquid form, spreads in the gap when the bearing is inserted and cures in the absence of air in contact with metal.
In service, the adhesive prevents the outer or inner ring of the bearing from rotating in its seat. This avoids fretting corrosion and wear on the housing. In many cases, worn bearing seats can be repaired again with the bearing/bush adhesive without re-bushing or replacing the housing. The adhesive complements the holding force of the fit.
Fields of application are maintenance, electric motor and gearbox servicing, agricultural engineering and vehicle workshops. The 50 ml bottle is designed for repairs at the workplace and is supplied under your own brand on request.
