Cold Start Spray

The Cold Start Spray is a starter spray for all petrol and diesel engines in the 300 ml can. It is used when an engine does not start immediately at low temperatures, after a long period of standing or in damp weather. The starter spray is sprayed briefly into the intake area and makes the first ignition easier.

In use, remove the air filter or use an intake opening, spray briefly and start immediately. Repeated and prolonged spraying is not intended. A starter spray does not replace fault-finding: if the engine repeatedly starts poorly, check the battery, ignition, glow plug system or fuel supply. Painted surfaces and plastics in the engine bay should not be sprayed.

The Cold Start Spray is aimed at vehicle workshops, agricultural machinery, construction machinery and municipal services, garden equipment services as well as fleets with seasonal vehicles that return to service after winter or a long period of standing. For filling stations and retailers, the 300 ml can is the compact addition to the Starter Spray with 400 ml.

1. Remove the air filter or expose an intake opening.
2. Shake the can and spray the cold start spray briefly into the intake area.
3. Start the engine immediately.
4. If the engine does not start, wait briefly, spray once more and start again.
5. Refit the air filter. In the event of repeated starting problems, check the battery, ignition and fuel system.
